Beatrice Tremblay is a colorist at Montreal-based Outpost, a full-service post house offering color grading, online and offline editing and post supervision.
Tremblay has been working on-site at the Outpost offices doing live and remote sessions — she uses the company’s Outpost’s OPM.Live, which is a live streaming service for high-quality video.
Toby Tomkins is founder and senior colorist a Cheat, a 7-year-old London-based post studio that provides color, online and VFX work across television, film and commercials.Cheat’s work has been recognized by the BAFTAs, Emmys, Oscars, MTV VMAs, Royal Television Society Awards, D&AD and many short film festivals.

Nikola Stefanović, who is head of color at The Mill Shanghai, has worked in the film and television industry for more than 20 years. He started as a 3D/motion graphic artist in 1998 at National Broadcast Corporation of Serbia and later transitioned to video editor working on spots before falling in love with color grading.

As a colorist, what would surprise people the most about what falls under that title?
What usually surprises people most about what colorists do would probably have to be the editorial side of things.
Edwin Metternich is senior colorist at Envy London, an end-to-end post facility offering offline, grading, VFX, online and sound design. A veteran colorist, Metternich worked at Framestore and Glassworks prior to joining Envy.
